About Our Cheerleading Program
The Missouri Wolverines Youth Cheerleading Club is part of the Missouri Wolverines Youth Organization Inc.
Our cheer club is headed up by Cheerleading Director Brooke George. We offer youth cheerleading for athletes in Kindergarten thru 8th Grade (ages 5 thru 14). We cheer at home football games for our Missouri Wolverines Football Club and cheer in competitions both locally and regionally.
Our indoor and outdoor practices are held at Kansas City Athlete Training Facility in Kansas City Missouri. We also have our own indoor facility, Kansas City Athlete Training Facility which will utilize as the weather turns cold. We practice twice a week during the pre-season and regular season however will add practices to prepare before competitions.
If you are interested in joining our club, we are accepting new registrations.
We do recommend a few steps before joining. First please read over our Parent Agreement, then please understand our 2024 Registration Fees & Obligation's.
Cheerleading is a sport! It's a hard sport. It takes dedication, building skills, and teamwork to be a successful squad. We will practice jumps such as: herkies, pikes, and toe touches. Our legs must be straight, our toes must be pointed, and a smile on our face at all times! Along with jumps, we practice stunting. Our bases, backs, and flyers each have a goal depending on the position. If the cheerleaders do their jobs, the stunts hit their marks and just when you think you've had enough we challenge our cheerleaders to do a little more. We continue to learn cheers, chants, and arm motions. We continue yelling our words and hitting each motion. Our coaches expect the cheerleaders to be louder, faster, and sharper with each passing practice. Our cheerleaders are working hard. We show off our talents and our skills we have perfected to our family, our team, and the crowd. But what makes it all worth while is seeing the crowd get rowdy! The team get excited! And our parent, family, players, football coaches, and friends recognize our hard work and dedication!
